Wow, just wow.

I knew it had been a long time since I had posted, but 3 years? We all know what happened to 2020. January 7th of 2021 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Chemo, surgery, radiation. My surgery was September 7th 2021. The chemotherapy got all the cancer, so there was not even any left in the tumor or lymph nodes that were removed. That day marks me cancer free. 2022 was still recovery and re-evaluation of my business and life. February 2023 was a wonderful vacation with our son and his wife, and our daughter and her partner. Many memories made and photos taken. 2023 brought us closer to retirement. We went "just looking" to an RV show, and you guessed it, bought a 29 ft Class C Motor Home. It just barely fits beside our house. It's tough to spend the money you have been saving all your life - for THIS on THIS. After taking several weekend trips in the new Motor Home, we took a long weekend to meet my brother from Indiana, in West Virginia. Lots of hills (mountains!). Great to spend time with family. Last week was a quilt retreat in a beautiful Inn located in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia. OK, you know it as Bonnie Hunter's Quiltville Inn. Old and new friends. Dedicated time to finish one quilt center, and make progress on a long-term project. That's the short and sweet update. Till later Bunnie

Hello,
Here I am staring at a blank page, wondering what I could say that would be interesting to anyone else.
I have been told by several people that they enjoy sitting next to me when we sew, because they learn so much when I talk to myself. Another friend said "Well, if several of us say the same thing then it must be true!"
So here I am, we can sit together and I will just talk out loud like I usually do, and see what we will learn.
Some of what I share may be old news, and some may be old news that you've never heard before. Or maybe you've heard it before, but now you are ready to learn from it.
We quilters are a sharing bunch. We share our scraps. We share our stories. We share our ideas. We share our opinions. We share our tips. Some more welcome than others, but life is a buffet, take what you want, leave what you don't. Pass along the good stuff.
